| Introducing the California Trio!! If you like hard-driving folk music in the 1960's style, you're going to love The California Trio! The group's material includes songs by The Kingston Trio, The Clancy Brothers, Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, The Limeliters, and others! This Orange County group has appeared at venues all over Southern California including The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, The Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana, and The House of Blues in Anaheim. The Trio regularly plays at several Orange County restaurants and released its first CD, "It's About Time!" in the spring of 2002. (Listen to selected titles from this project by clicking here.) Tom Steele - "the big man with the great big voice", was a single act prior to joining the group.Tom's vocals and guitar, banjo and harmonica play drive The Trio's sound. Larry Mack - also performed as a single before joining The Trio playing eclectic material ranging from John Prine to Leon Redbone. Larry's guitar play and vocal harmonies are a mainstay of The California Trio. Rich Debevec - is the third original member of the group. In addition to his vocals, Rich adds spice to The Trio's sound on the 5-string banjo, tenor guitar and congas. Jim Miles - fills the bottom in on the upright bass. A relative new comer to the folk music sound, Jim has musical roots in jazz. These guys have a great time performing and it shows! If you enjoy high-energy folk music, check out The California Trio!!
